~Carrie was extremely helpful in my breastfeeding journey. I was amazed at her level of knowledge and comprehensive care. As a second time mom, I knew what issues we may be up against, and Carried helped me check each one of them off the list - mastitis, clogged ducts, tongue tie. She spent a lot of time helping us with breastfeeding - I never felt rushed, and she took the time to care for the new mom aspects of the transition I was dealing with as well. I HIGHLY recommend Carrie - compared with other IBCLC's I have worked with, Carrie is above and beyond the best choice!

~Carrie is a highly competent and knowledgable lactation consultant. She immediately correctly diagnosed my son's tongue-tie related nursing issue when he was 6 weeks old, and we were able to have his tongue-tie corrected within 48 hours. That in turn improved his nursing and helped me determine the most successful nursing arrangement for him and for me going forward. Carrie's expertise is matched by her compassion - she was responsive when I initially reached out for help and is very present with the client, keeping ongoing contact as per the client's comfort-level and needs. Her network of lactation-related professionals is comprised of excellent people. I highly recommend Carrie.

Our daughter was born with a significant lip and tongue tie, which caused a lot of feeding difficulties, even though she is bottle fed. Carrie correctly assessed the ties (the same ties three pediatricians and two lactation consultants missed). Following COVID safety protocols, Carrie came to our home for home visits. She assessed our baby, connected us with expert referrals who performed the revisions, assessed our daughter’s healing and feeding post-revision and taught us how to execute different types of body work and stretches, which are essential to the the post-revision healing process. She also gave us specific and practical guidance on bottle feeding.
Carrie takes a holistic approach to treating the whole baby and his/her environment. Carrie’s knowledge-base is vast. She is a terrific educator and her skill and expertise are second to none. She is beyond generous with her accessibility and her time. And on top of it all, she educates and guides with an unparalleled warmth. She effortlessly creates a healing space void of all judgement and replete with genuine support and care.
It’s rare to find a provider who can be both a top expert in their knowledge and skill AND ALSO an expert in providing a genuine connection of care and support. Carrie shines on both fronts.
Feeding difficulties in a newborn can be extremely stressful on the entire family. Carrie understands that and provides realistic and personalized guidance. She has helped our entire family feel empowered in helping our baby resolve her feeding challenges. Carrie is simply the best!

~I was desperate and at wits end when I contacted Carrie, I was ready to give up. I had seen 3 other Lactation Consultants. My pediatrician encouraged me to see Carrie and I am so grateful! She saved me. I was not just having breastfeeding difficulties, but ALL feeding difficulties. My baby was miserable with awful reflux, gas, and only able to eat 1 oz at a time.
